  that's right, nothing.. you get struck on the cheek and you pony up for the other slap.. your pray for the enemy who wants you face down in the mud with his heel on your neck.. you get treated like pond scum and force a smile and forgive.. abused?

  Whenever others respond to Terry 's topics with the Bible, they are not listening to Terry. How many times and ways does he have to explain his conclusions that the Bible means absolutely nothing to him.

  Try answering him without the use of scriptures. You probably can't, because that's all you have to lean on. Can you use reasoning and logic to respond to his topics. I know it's a challenge to you your "THINKING" ABILITY" when all you have is scripture to do the thinking for you.

  OOPS! Am I going to get some peopled feathers ruffled.

  Terry! Wow and Wow! What a factual list you have taken the time to share with us. Anyone who uses their reasoning ability and logic ability and objectively takes a long and hard look at these facts has to admit that there is no such thing as an "END TIME."

  The universe exists, time moves on, life and death are two constants that continue on and on. We are born, we live so long, and then we are gone.

  Where we go when we die is the question of humanity.

  So, religion and belief systems bail some out from the fear and denial of death.

  However, that is an aside from what you have posted.

  Thanks for all your hard work and sharing it with us.

  Murder in the Bible.

  the story of cain and able in chapter four of the bible takes up about sixteen lines or verses of the bible.. it is arguably history's most famous murder.. but the story is silent about one key detail: the weapon cain used to kill his brother.. it's not a rock, or a sharpened stone.

  yes, there was blood.. and to this day, the world's first murder weapon is still lost to history.. why has the writer/ writers left this important information out?.

  afterall to charge someone with murder you need to have a murder weapon.. are there any other murders in the bible where the weapon used is unknown and or lost to history.. blueblades/mall cop.

  They are going through the motions. There is no more Joy, one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Why is that missing? It's a sorry state of affairs. The tired ones are 'captives' like a Lion or Tiger roaming from side to side in the cage in the zoo, going nowhere and looking forlorned.

  Hi Leavingwt! I left your response out as that was a given understood about God. I was thinging about man's justice and who was the person that wrote this part of the Bible and how did he come to know this.

  Hi Soldierr77! I agree with you that it is not important to find the weapon and the case about what you said about Jesus' death is true.

  I Saw An "Inactive" JW At The Local Pub

  he used to be a ms in another hall and was a friend of my daughter's.

  how refreshing it was to hear that he hasn't gone to the hall for over 3 years and he articulated how ridiculous the entire religion is.

  i was with a friend having lunch and my friend's entire family are jws.. he expressed that it was great getting out of the "cult".

  i found and interesting article by michael shermer that i thought i might share as i personally found it quite reasonable in the way it was put forward.

  "God" as traditionally defined is a systematic contradiction of every valid metaphysical principle. The point is wider than just the Judeo-Christian concept of God. No argument will get you from this world to a supernatural world. No reason will lead you to a world contradicting this one. No method of inference will enable you to leap from existence to a "super-existence."

  Blondie, Good one. Correct me if I'm wrong on this. According to the Society this Watchtower study is for the anointed only. They apply it to those who are not of the anointed while at the same time using examples of the first century congregation members who were all anointed.

  Now, it's one thing to say the study is for those who support the anointed as members of a local congregation with the earthly hope. However, the rank and file will think that the congregation of God applies to them according to this study article.
